The Company VVC corporation has issued a further update on their Helium Project in Syracuse, a project that would be utilized to revitalize industrial areas of the city.
VVC has been involved in revitalizing the economy of Syracuse since 2015, when it started to revitalize the industrial areas around Onondaga Lake. These efforts have been evolving through the years, and it has now taken a major step forward with the Helium Project.
The project consists of two phases. The first phase includes the construction of a five-storey office building that will have an auxiliary area to support the construction and installation of new infrastructure. This infrastructure includes a new automated parking garage, a fiber loop, and a new heliport. The entire process should take about eighteen months to complete.
Once the new infrastructure is completed, the second phase includes the construction of a twenty-four-acre development on the east side of Onondaga Lake. This development will be used as an industrial park with research facilities, and commercial and residential space. The project should also create nearly 900 new jobs in Syracuse.
The Helium project is being funded by private investments, but the company is also in dialog with the city of Syracuse and the state of New York. This support should help the project move forward successfully and on schedule.
The goal of the project is to create new jobs and economic growth for Syracuse. It is hoped that the project will stimulate the economy and encourage further development and investment in the region.
This is a great opportunity for Syracuse to become an even more vibrant part of New York. The Helium project is an exciting development and it is hoped that it will bring many benefits to the city and the people who live there.
